That’s an excellent question.
I can’t say that I’m really sure at this point. It’s probably going to be just whatever I happen to be thinking about at the time. That could be politics. Or philosophy. Perhaps anger at some injustice I’ve heard about. It could just be that I have things I want to say from time to time and this is where I’m going to say them.
And the name of the site?
I lived in Tucson, Arizona from 1984 to 1989 when I moved back to Illinois. I liked Tucson but I had things to do back in the Midwest. The thing is, I’d always intended to come back. One of the things I needed to do was go to school. I figured it would take few years to get that done, maybe work a bit for experience, then come back to Tucson. Five years, tops.
It took 27. I won’t go in to the various reasons I had for the delay. Suffice to say that employment and romantic entanglements were on the list. As was being closer to my kids until they grew up.
I had good reasons for not coming back but I never lost the urge. So I came back in 2016. A few years later when I needed a name for a website some form of back to the desert popped into my head and here we are.
That’s it for today.
I don’t really have anything else to say at this point. I just wanted to warn you that, if you come back, it could be some pretty random stuff coming around. Hope you like it enough to read some.
If you want to know a little about me then I have an About Me page you might find useful.
